Que Amor SB

* 2008 / stallion / dark-brown / Bavarian studbook / 167 cm
Breeder: ZG Walter and Brigitte Polak, Vilsbiburg

Que Amor SB started his career already as a foal, where he was sold as the most expensive colt at the Bavarian foal auction in Landshut in 2008. As a three year old he won and was placed in “Reitpferdeprüfungen”. In fall 2011 he finished his 30-day stallion test in Munich with high marks in all categories. Directly after the stallion test he became the champion in dressage and show jumping of the Southern German Under Saddle licensing at Marbach. No other stallion has ever won both titels before him.

As a four year old he was again successfull in several “Reitpferdeprüfungen”, including the fourth place at the Bavarian Riding Horse Championships. After that he easily changed to show jumping and he became immediately Southern German Vice-Champion of the four year old jumping horses in Nördlingen 2012. He also was qualified for the finals of the PSA Tour in Donaueschingen. There he also met our expectations and was placed within the top ten. Because of these successes, he got the title “Southern German premium stallion” when he was only five years old at the Southern German Stallion Days 2013 in Munich. As five year old he won and was placed in several young horse classes and finished his first international start with three clear rounds. As a six-years old Que Amor SB won and was placed in several young horse classes. He was later on placed internationally and is now successful in the US.

The father Question d’Honneur was the most expensive stallion at the Southern German Stallion Days in 2007 and won at age of seven 1,45m classes. He was awarded with the Diamond Award in 2013 at the gala evening of the Southern German Stallion Days. He originates from the stallion Quite Capitol, which connects the valuable blood of Quidam de Revel with the full sister of the great Capitol. Maternal he originates from Lord Calando and the full sister of the stallions Acord I + II.

Que Amor SB’s mother Lillie III B is a daughter of the stallion Coriano, who helped Judy-Ann Melchior to come into the international sport and is now as a breeding stallion in Zangersheide. Again and again Coriano produces very good jumping horses, like for example the World Cup winner and Southern German Master Stallion 2013, Colorit. Lillie III B gave birth to several foals. Most of them were sold at foal auctions in Southern Germany and some were bought by well-known show jumping stables in Bavaria.

Que Amor SB has a very interesting dam line, and has on the mother side three times the valuable blood of Ramzes.

From his motherline come a lot of successful sport horses.

Unfortunately, Que Amor SB was used for breeding only very little. However, his few foals are even more sensational. All presented foals received the gold premium of the Bavarian studbook. One daughter (Dam’s Sire: Ladero) was even the foal champion at a regional foal selection of the Bavarian studbook in Postmünster. His son Quadrifoglio (Dam’s Sire: Quinto de B) was the most expensive colt at the Bavarian Elite Foal Auction in Munich 2013 and is now growing up in a well-known stud as a stallion prospect.

Que Amor SB produced in his first year only dark foals (no chestnuts). All foals were very chic and had very good paces.
