Katana des Lys Jaunes is one of our big hopes for the future. It is named after the Japanese long sword that the samurai used to use. He is a very powerful horse that jumps with a lot of scope. He is very easy and pleasant to ride and has a huge canter. He has been carefully raised and won already several young horse classes.

Since Katana des Lys Jaunes was such a lovely character as a foal and ran behind people, he was nicknamed “Bussibär”. In the meantime, the name no longer fits to the handsome and powerful brown stallion, but he kept that name at home.

Katana des Lys Jaunes is in training with Franz-Josef “Peppi” Dahlmann.

Katana des Lys Jaunes is a direct son of the famous French stallion, Diamant de Semilly. He founded his own line both in France and in Germany and has been one of the leading show jumping sires in the world since years.

His mother is the KWPN mare Tegonda. This is a daughter of the legends Heartbreaker and Alme Z. The mother has already produced five internationally successful show jumpers. The successful mare Cellagon Anna (J.-F. Meyer-Zimmermann) comes for example from the same damline.
